The Art Class Course Description

In art education students learn Visual Fine Art skills such as skill building,  problem solving, hand- eye coordination, critical thinking, collaboration, dedication, perseverance, accountability, visual communication which are among a few of many.

The basic structure of this class are performance based learning. Students actually have to use their hands, eyes, ears, nose and verbal abilities, to create successful works of art.

(In other words use of the whole brain.)

While in working on projects students are also required to learn art vocabulary, artists, art history, art criticism and art aesthetics.

Students are also using technology for research, learning, to enhance art skills and bridging gaps to the importance of art is to their life.  Learning evolves on  how art can change and enhance their performance in school, home and community and most of all their future.

There are multiple opportunities for success in the Visual Arts which all of the art students will have access to. Their success will be key to their confidence to building the future.
