Ms. Cu

Hello My Name Is...

Lien Cu

This is my second year teaching in a Middle School setting. I received my Bachelors Degree in Middle Grades Education from Clayton State University. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University. My belief is that all children learn in their own particular way and in order to be successful, not only do they need motivation, but they also need someone that they know will never give up on them.

Course Information

I teach 7th grade English Language Arts and although there may be some challenging times, it is always a pleasure getting our young scholars molded into striving young adults and soon to be 8th graders.

In accordance with Georgia’s new standards for the 2016-2017 year, 7th grade language arts focuses on student development in the following areas:
-Writing: explanatory/informative, argumentative, and narrative
-Reading: literary texts, informational, as well as other genres
-Study and apply grammar conventions
-Use and understand general academic and domain-specific vocabulary

Discipline Plan

Clayton County Public Schools strive for excellence and in order to do that, Adamson and other CCPS have a discipline plan that is centered on appropriate behavior. Students follow the Adamson CARE Matrix where they know at all times how they should conduct themselves when representing Adamson. Students are always given the opportunity to correct their actions, but when further action is needed, documentation on referrals will be taken.
