Coach Hart

Hello My Name Is...

Tammy Hart

hart
I was born and raised in Hartwell, Ga. I now reside in Morrow Ga. I have three beautiful children. Having majored in Recreation Management as an undergraduate, I have received intensive training by Dr. Mendez in therapeutic, logical thinking and sports management. After I graduated, I became a Camp Counselor at the Boys & Girls Club of Rome. During that time, I assisted students as needed with homework and other educational enhancing activities. I also assisted with recreational activities to help acquire and enhance social skills. From there, I was led to Juvenile correction. There I supervised, monitored and provided preventive crisis, on-site intervention for youthful offenders assigned to the institution. I provided a safe, secure and clean environment for the rehabilitation and custody of youth without endangering private citizens, other residents, staff or property.

As a result of my experiences at the Boys & Girls Club and Juvenile Corrections, I was well prepared for the challenges that awaited me as the Unit Director of the organization. My primary task was to plan and manage the overall club programs. I also went to back to get a certification in Medical Assisting so that I could better help children that I came in contact with medical conditions.  My success in leading this organization led me to my most significant accomplishment as a paraprofessional then a teacher in Clayton County Public Schools. I have my Bachelors Degree in Recreation Management, my Masters Degree in Physical Education and my Education Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning . My long-term goal is to dedicate myself to the educational needs of all students, providing them with the tools necessary to become productive citizens in a global society
